Kirk Bone


Occupation and Employment: I am the Director of Government Relations for Parker Development Company. I joined the firm in 1994 as a project manager for The Parkway in Folsom. In my current position, I am responsible for relationships with elected officials and related community groups. Specific activities include work on entitlements, financial plans and other activities that require approval of elected officials.


Education: Graduated from University of California, Davis


Previous Employment: My previous experience includes managing site development and home construction for two major Sacramento area homebuilders, as well as project management for other master planned communities.


Community Involvement: I have been active with the Friends of Folsom Parkways, Building Industry Association of Superior California, El Dorado Hills Chamber of Commerce, and the Boys and Girls Club of El Dorado County Western Slope. I currently serve on the Board of Directors of the El Dorado County Chamber of Commerce (President 2009 and 2010) and their Political Action Committee. I also serve as a Director on MetroPAC, the political action committee of the Sacramento Chamber of Commerce. In addition, I serve on Citizens Advisory Committees to local government in El Dorado County and Folsom, working on solutions to various issues. During my off hours, I chair the school Advisory Committee at St. Mel’s School in Fair Oaks.


Church Involvement: I serve on the Board of Trustees for the Episcopal Diocese of Northern California. In addition, I served on the Vestry at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral from 2010 through 2012 and was Senior Warden in 2012.
